At TCO we believe that overt competition should be used sparingly — and with great care — in the classroom. Often a competitive activity, even when guided by True Competition, is not the best choice for facilitating learning.

Still there are times when competition does enter the classroom: whether through the active choice of the teacher, or through the “hidden” competitions — social, academic — that take place between students. True Competition can help in both cases.
